Our approach

Safety programs fail when they drift away from the work

Most organizations have a safety binder. Far fewer have a system the people on the floor actually use. We start by asking the people doing the work what really worries them, then build programs, training and leadership habits around those answers.

About Zero Harm Institute
What we believe

Four principles behind everything we do

01

Ask the people doing the work

The hazards that hurt people rarely show up in a generic template. They show up when you ask the crew what keeps them uneasy and treat the answer as data.

02

Safety is led from the top

Safety leadership is not a specialty you delegate. What executives do in their own meetings shapes what happens on a loading dock they may never visit.

03

Fix conditions, not people

A “worker mistake” is often a leadership miss in disguise. Good investigations look for conditions to change, not someone to blame.

04

Systems drift unless maintained

Every safety system is either kept up on purpose or slowly drifts back to where it started. Leading indicators and steady review keep it honest.
